Frequently asked questions
Does laser hair removal really work?
Yes! It targets the hair follicle at the root, slowing and reducing regrowth with each session.
How many sessions will I need?
Usually, 6-8 sessions to start, a transition phase of 4-6 sessions, then maintenance afterwards.
Can I shave between sessions?
Yes! Shaving is the only approved method between treatments.
Why can’t I wax or pluck?
Because the laser needs the hair root to work — waxing removes it!
Does it hurt?
Most clients describe it as mild warmth or a light snap — super tolerable.
How long does a session take?
Small areas (like underarms) take 10–15 minutes; larger areas (legs, back) may take up to an hour.
Can I get laser on my face?
Absolutely! It’s great for upper lip, chin, sideburns, or full face.
Is it safe for dark skin?
Yes — we use laser technology suitable for all skin types.
What do I do before my session?
Before the session;
– Shave 24/48 hrs prior
– Avoid exfoliants, retinoids, or acids on the area 3-5 days before the session
– Do not wax, tweezers, or thread for at least 4 weeks prior
What should I avoid after?
Absolutely! It’s great for upper lip, chin, sideburns, or full face.
When will I see results?
You’ll start seeing less regrowth after 2–3 sessions — full results after completing your series.
Can I do laser if I’m on my period?
Yes, but you may feel slightly more sensitive. For bikini area, wear a clean tampon or cup.
Is laser safe while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Not recommended — best to wait until after breastfeeding.
Why do I need multiple sessions?
Hair grows in cycles — laser only targets active growth (anagen) phase.
Can men do laser hair removal?
Of course! Common areas: beard line, chest, back, neck, and shoulders.
Can I tan while doing laser?
Avoid tanning before or after — it increases sensitivity and risk of pigmentation.
What happens if I miss a session?
Try to stay consistent — timing affects your overall results.
Can I exfoliate after?
Wait at least 3 days before exfoliating.
Can I use deodorant after underarm laser?
Best to wait till 24 hours after the session.
How long do results last?
Most clients enjoy permanent reduction after a full series — occasional touch-ups keep results smooth.
What are the side effects with laser?
You might see mild redness and irritation post-session. It will fade quickly.
